Jacinta Stewart is an Australian artist from Brisbane now residing in Manhattan,New York City.She first ventured there in May 2003 to participate in an exhibition titled "Out from Down Under and Beyond.": a group show of Australian and New Zealand Artists.

Prior to this Jacinta had participated in five solo exhibitions in the Tracey Keller Gallery,Doggett St. Studios and Southbank Gallery in Brisbane, Australia.

Jacinta specializes in Acrylic paint medium and only uses museum grade materials.She is passionate about her work and painting is part of her everyday life.
"I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED TO PAINT.I CAN RECALL MY FATHER GIVING ME GREAT FREEDOM TO "PLAY" WITH HIS OIL PAINTBOXES TO CREATE AS EARLY AS FOUR YEARS OLD.I HAVE PAINTED ALL MY LIFE AND I THINK I AM MOST ALIVE WHEN I HAVE A BRUSH IN MY HAND."

Jacinta continues to study art and explore new subject matter.She won "best of show"in an the Arts Students League life drawing exhibition in January 2011 which was exhibited in June at the 'Red Dot" exhibition later that year showcasing the best work at the league for that year.

Jacinta's works are also part of many private collections throughout Australia,England,Malaysia and the USA.

She specializes in PRIVATE COMMISSIONS and is excited by the process of creating individualized paintings for particular spaces for private homes,offices,building lobbies,restaurants etc Jacinta works closely with clients to bring their vision alive.

"I LOVE TO CREATE WORKS FOR INDIVIDUAL SPACES.THERE IS NO GREATER COMPLIMENT THAT SOMEONE COULD GIVE ME THAN CHOOSING TO LIVE WITH MY WORK ON THEIR WALLS. I WILL NEVER TAKE THAT FOR GRANTED."
